My Inspiration, My MOM

With a smile on her face,

For 9 long months she bore the pain,

Always loved me in the same manner,

Be it sunshine or be it rain,

 Kept awake for me all night,

When I fell sick,

And then would wake up to be ready for work,

When 6AM in clock would tick,

In this fast paced world,

She taught me how to walk,

Amongst the highly vociferous crowd,

she taught me how to diligently talk,

Never ever have I seen her

Shirk from any of her chores,

Still would have time,

To take me walking to the shore,

Always cheered me up,

When I was upset or sad,

Stood there listening with a calm,

When at times I got mad,

People believe their closest one in life,

Would be some girl from a Rom-Com,

For me, My dearest friend in life,

Would always be my lovely Mom !!!
